The capital is located on the island of Bioko. However the biggest city, Bata, located on the continental part, is home to 80% of the country's population.
Geography
The country has a coastline on the Atlantic, just around the equator. It includes a continental part, Rio Muni, and 200 km further north, the small island of Fernando Po, now called Bioko.
