Visit Argentina > Tierra del Fuega > Beagle Channel
Glaciers of unimaginable magnitude surround the ship as you spend a day cruising through Beagle Channel, named after Charles Darwin’s ship. Next up, Ushuaia on the Argentinean island of Tierra del Fuego. Surrounded by glacial peaks, the world’s southernmost city is your jumping-off point for eco-tourism of all shapes and sizes.
Named for Darwin's ship, HMS Beagle, Beagle Channel separates Ushaia in Argentine Tierra del Fuego from Puerto Williams, in Chilean Tierra del Fuego.
The experience of sailing the Beagle Channel cannot be missed!
The boat heads southwest to the center of the Beagle Channel, arriving at the Eclaireurs Light House, which stands on a small island in the archipelago of the same name. On one of these islets you can observe parts of the boat Monte Cervantes, which was wrecked in 1930.
