Twenty-two of the largest hotels on the Ile de Beauté formed the "Cercle des Grandes Maisons Corses" in June 2009, an association whose aim is to promote Corsica as a luxury destination that can equal any island in the world.

You can't describe Corsica. It lives and breathes the sensuousness of its landscapes that are like works of art. And yet Corsica, this paradise on earth, still suffers from a reputation as varied as its geography.

All the establishments that make up the Cercle are classified four- or five-star and are found throughout the island, from Cap Corse to the southern tip.
