General Information
Scotland is part of the United Kingdom and occupies the northern part of Great Britain, north of England, with the North Sea to its east. Many islands and archipelagoes are scattered off the west coast. The southwestern part is separated from Ireland by the North Channel.

Fairly cool, since the average temperature hovers around 15° C, except in July when it’s warmer. Don’t forget your woolies.

Currency: the Scottish pound, which has the same value as the English pound
