Anti-ageing is the latest trend. It is based on the perennial desire to remain young. And who wouldn't like to put one over on age? So it is not without good reason that Father Kneipp's course of treatment is "in" again after more than a hundred years. What was formerly called "Kneipp's cure" is today known as "anti-ageing" at its best!

Toskana Therme
Bad Sulza is an idyllic spa and wine town in the heart of Germany’s “Tuscany of the East”. Salt extraction from the underground saline reservoirs began over 1000 years ago, and today vineyards flourish on the sunlit slopes of the surrounding hills.

Bad Sulza’s spa facilities were founded on Goethe’s recommendation and spa guests ever since have partaken of salty airs, promenaded through the spa gardens and wandered the verdant valleys and rolling hills. Bad Sulza’s historic “graduation house”, originally built as part of the salt extraction works, is still in operation today and is used for partaking of ‘sea airs’ inland.

Liquid Sound and the Toskana Therme
In 1999, Bad Sulza’s spa facilities were given a new dimension with the opening of the Toskana Therme thermal baths. Incorporating the world-famous Liquid Sound, it uses specially developed multimedia technology to provide an extra-ordinary experience: hearing under water.

The installation itself may be high-tech, but the experience is based on an archaic need: to connect with water. The effect is relaxing, reviving and fills the senses—a unique and harmonious blend of healing and relaxation.

It can also be enlivening: musical and aural events, coupled with natural (full moon) and artificial light installations, regularly transform the thermal baths into an aquatic concert hall.

Specialities : Liquid Sound, Aqua Wellness, Hydrotherapy and water-based therapies

Black Forest
Spas > Europe > Germany 1

The Black Forest, or Silva Negra as it was called by the Romans, is neither black nor truly a forest anymore, but a picturesque area of rolling hills, orchards and medieval villages that before the War was one of the most popular destinations for North European tourists. Baden Baden's thermal baths are the mecca.

Even the ancient Romans understood the benefits of regularly bathing in healthy thermal water. So follow their example and enjoy hours of relaxation in the wonderful world of the Baden-Baden’s thermal baths. Immerse yourself in the invigorating waters that originate deep beneath the town. Clear your mind, soothe your soul and let your body find its natural balance.

You’ve never experienced that ‘new pin’ feeling after a soap & brush massage? Then it’s about time you visited the Friedrichsbad.

Stretch out like a starfish! Now doesn’t that sound tempting?
Enjoy the sensation of pure relaxation in one of the many thermal baths and relish hot and cold moments in the modern sauna complex of the Caracalla Spa.
