Edinburgh Castle is considered one of the most haunted places in Scotland. Over the years, visitors to the castle have reportedly witnessed various ghostly sightings, including a phantom piper, a headless drummer and the spirits of French prisoners from the Seven Years War. Due to its rather bloody history, the castle has been known to have an impact on some of its guests, including reports of being touched or pulled at by an undetected person, the feeling of being watched, mists and green lights, the presence of shadowy figures, cold patches or sudden and inexplicable emotional disturbances.

The Queen Mary of Long Beach, California is known for its services as a World War II transport ship, and to this day, is still associated with ghosts. With 49 reported deaths during her 60-year history, there has been plenty of opportunity over the years for spirits to haunt her hallways. Some reported sightings include a young crewman in the engine room and swimmers in the first-class pool. The Queen Mary even offers a Ghosts and Legends Tour that includes admission to a special exhibit and a self-guided tour to other nearby haunted hot spots.
Considered to be one of the top six most haunted places in America, the Queen Mary has attracted a large number of individuals due to the unexplained phenomenon and true ghost stories that have been said to have occurred on the “Gray Ghost” as deemed by many.
There are several spirits that still linger in within the walls of this most haunted ship. As a matter of fact, the Queen Mary is considered to be the most haunted of all old ships still floating today.

While Venice, Italy is known for its romantic gondola rides it is also considered one of the most haunted cities in Europe. It is actually known to its locals for the spirits that lurk the dark alleyways and side streets after sunset. The Venetian Island of Poyeglia casts an overwhelming sense of negativity, often deterring locals from visiting, especially due to the ghostly voices and footsteps that can often be heard. The island is also known for housing victims of the Black Plague and in later years, housed a hospital where mental patients were kept and supposedly used for experimentation. Today, the location is not open to the public, but those who have tried to sneak their way in have sworn never to return.
